monday, monday

1manyhands

Well, that was fun! I can think of a few silly captions for this photo following our weekend antics, but will leave it to the imagination. The reality is that daily life awaits the other side of escape...no Housekeeping? knocking on the door this morning to make up the bed and refresh the towels. No get-together lingering over coffee to map out the day's agenda. There is plenty to do now that we're back at home- though it's with a stronger spring in my step and lots to inspire even the small tasks. Hope you had a weekend full of delight, adventure and laughter- in your back yard or someone else's. Sure helps power through the week to come.  xoC

What a whimsical picture!

Sounds like a lovely break from reality. Glad you enjoyed yourself. I couldn't agree more--a good weekend can push me through just about any week, along with some pulling from the weekend to come.

Such a cool pic... LOVE it!!!

Well, I love that picture. That vignette sure makes you stop and wonder!

Charlotte have a lovely week and remember to eat lots of yummy things xoxoxo Clarice

Yes...when reality comes knocking....but we all DO NEED a break!!!!!

Welcome home and back to reality! (Why can't life be one long vacation?)

Hi there,
You have a great eye, thanks for sharing those images with us. I get such joy looking at your blog, and seeing what you are up to. When I was young,(17) younger by a great deal than I am now, I got to live in Pawling NY. It was a big deal for a Swiss Canadian girl who lived in a village of 12 and 9 were my family. We went up state somewhere on the Hudson River, and I remember it was so beautiful I think we went to a Monastary? Loved living in NY. Glad you had a great weekend.

Hi Charlotte,
It makes me smile to think of you having such a wonderful time. I've enjoyed all these wonderful photos, but especially this one. I'm always attracted to images of hands like these.
Take care.
