wedding album
Chelseah's wedding was the centerpiece of a kingsized happiness quilt- stitched together over the weekend with the same threads- family, friendship, love, beauty, nostalgia, fun. Many hands and hearts at work. I was teary now and then, but the rest was spent laughing and reveling in the moments with family and friends. Big girls, little girls, their girls, our girls...and the most fabulous, wonderful guys. Plus some serious dressing up.
Over the heads of our toddlers playing in each other's kitchens, Jill, Nicki and I became steadfast friends. Nicki and I took lunch over to Jill's for the bridal party and managed a sneak peek into the before scene. Watching Jill and her daughters bring out Chelseah's dress and share a few of those memorable, tender hugs-- too much for us too.
The weather was sunny all day but fiercely windy. An hour before the wedding it settled down- as if Mother Nature said, Wait, I promised to have it be nice now....we're going to make it totally perfect.
sisters, maids of honor
Chelseah and Zack Free- Hurray, hurray!
off-duty flower girl
tidying bubbles and ribbons
cute peep-toe shoes (yay...but still ouch!)
Amy's ooh-and-ahh earrings
The sunset at the edge of the tent- just before my battery went out. Good thing, because it was time for dining, dancing and toasting...and that would be too much. Can't dance and snap pictures too.
Congratulations, Chelseah and Zack...and to Rod and Jill! Love.

Oh Charlotte! You are such a master storyteller...with not only your words, but your images! thank you for sharing this little glimpse...truly magical!

Looks like it was a bliss-filled occasion. Love your documentary of the day - very sweet. May I say Chelseah looks sooo much like her mom. I love that! Much happiness to all!
