over the top
So many comments to choose from last night for the kit drawing! I put them into the random number selector and voila- 2 emerged. Jen and Jeanne. Somehow, that seemed to be too few so I chose one more and am sending a third kit to Olivia.
I loved reading those comments regarding favorite posts; they were amazingly thoughtful and kind. It looks as though my family posts are the ones that you remember most. I do, indeed, enjoy writing about that, so I'll keep at it without overdoing I hope. Those posts are the hardest to write though, to make sense of the feelings and emotion without being too sentimental. But surely they are my favorites too- and the crafts. Have to have those. I wish I could send a personal thank you out to each of you. I guess this is it, but really, truly, thanks so much for reading and staying with me here.
We had a perfect day yesterday, Mo surprising her sisters with an early homecoming, the girls and their sweet boyfriends here for the afternoon, Andy cooking up a feast, football and tunes in the background, good stories, constant laughter, hugs and hugs and hugs.
So on now to the holidays, to time with Mo and family, then baking, crafting and building more kits because you asked for them (added the tree kit now). And if you are in the city, I'll be teaching at Tinsel Trading again on Saturday, the 8th. We're making felt ornaments (sneak peek there on the site). I promise you they are very cute and the class is wonderful fun.
When it gets cold this winter, I'll go back to that woodstack of comments and kindness and burn through it again. You all make it very, very cozy in here. Thank you! I hope you too have lots of love this week to stoke your homefires for the holiday. Stay warm. xoC

Charlotte, your posts are like a nice cup of hot cocoa on a cold day! They always warm the soul; and I can just smell the smoke from the chimneys, and the crisp crunch of leaves underfoot! Have a great week...

Oh Charlotte... I have been chomping at the bit since I saw the listing for your feltie ornament class at TT on the 8th!! Kim and I were unable to get into your class at SB so I am thrilled to have you doing a "hometown" class that I can pop over too!
See you on the 8th! :)
PS - I can NOT sew to save my life...bear with me! LOL

Charlotte, I,m hoping you teach something in the spring, when I visit my daughter in N.Y.
I know how it is to have your daughters home, I hate having my daughter so far away!
Have a beautiful time together!

Dear Charlotte...I had been off line for 3 weeks due to my mother's illness. I am just now catching up with everyone and doing my new posts too! Reading your blog is like sitting down, cup of hot tea in my right hand, a good book in my left...plopping into my comfy char and relaxing! Cozy, warm and welcoming. Thank you for that.
I wanted to wish you the happiest Thanksgiving ever...enjoy each moment.
I will soon be decorating with cherished older things and my new Charlotte bits and bobs from Bayberry Cove! They are precious! I am thrilled.
Hugs,
Sue
