city sparkle, crafty magic
Being in the city on Saturday was so refreshing. It's easy to forget what that energy is like, a giant snowglobe of whirling activity. I had to rush from Grand Central to Tinsel Trading to set up for my class, but this is what I passed on the street.
And then at the store there was more sparkle and shine.

Inside it was cozy and festive where we sat around the big table and sewed felt ornaments. We had such a good time, cackling like Christmas hens and left with warm holiday hugs, feeling the kinship of new and old friends. Off to the next great adventure.....and another class TBA in January. xoC

Are you going to sell another kit ? You mentioned in a previous post that you might have something for us. Sounds like you had a great time shopping in the city and at your class!

My camera never seems to take pictures as nice as these. They are the eye candy I needed today after a whirlwind week ending in the class that rocked TT.

There's no place quite like NYC during the Christmas season! I love it this time of year.
From the smiles on everyone's faces, it looks like a lovely time was had by all.
Best wishes to you Charlotte!

How lovely! The city snapshots are wonderful, as are those little birds. For someone who grew up far from cities and snow, they certainly do give me a sense of Christmas cheer.
Thanks for the beautiful Westmoreland kit, Charlotte - finally got to open it today. Complete adoration. :)

My daughter lives in NYC, so you better believe Tinsel Trading Co. was at the top of my list the two times I have visited her! Your photos of the city at Christmas are so lovely. Thank you for stopping by my blog tonight and leaving your kind comments. I am always so amazed at how quickly we can connect with other artists all over the world via the internet. I look forward to receiving your beautiful cards.
Stay warm and Happy Holidays!

Oh, what fun! I've never been to Tinsel Trading so it's on my list the next time we're in the city. Which I hope will be soon. There's nothing like New York at Christmas time.
