pieces of heart :: 3
A handmade paper valentine from my friend, Robin. For years now, it still sits on my memoboard and of course, reminds me of her, then me, the wren. Robin & Wren. Robin designed my books and has the most beautiful style, a crisp elegance that I love.
The illustrated magazine cover from a bundle Dede sent to me. She was cleaning out. Hmmm.

Cute "wren" Valentine! And an adorable Ducth girl with tulips! What great "stuff" Dede gave away!

Love your blog and your reference to rug hooking. I'm a primitive rug hooker from Virginia. I also do paper arts, as well. I thought I remembered that you had made a rug for ME....of her home I think....several years ago.

I've been reading your blog since meeting you at SB and just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your writing. These last few entries have made me look around our home with new eyes and see all our sweet memories. Thank you!

I love the handmade Valentines. As I bought a box of Sponge Bob packaged Valentines for Henry to give his classmates in preschool...I couldn't help but think that it would be so much more fun to make Valentines for each of them. We'll see how the week goes!
