just looking
I love standing still in Grand Central watching everyone rushing, going somewhere. Turning the corner on winter now, the color will come back into the picture next time I'm there. Jackets will be orange and lime and aqua.
It's bound to happen.
Spring gardens are planned. The light is changing.
Slightly spinning reflections in the air. Longer days, birdsong.
You just have to turn your head a little, look up and see it.

I was about to email and ask if the windows you were showing were Antropologie...esp. the window with the seed packets, but then I saw the reflection in the window and knew. Thanks for the peeks into NYC. Lovely.

I love the photos of the windows! I love Anthropolgie but they aren't in the UK yet - maybe I can dream someday!
I love your new header! Where did the little dogs come from? Did you make them?
Hoping for spring here too!!

You have the most wonderful ability of expressing your love of life in your artwork and words. Thank you! In my Dallas garden the redbud tree is leafing out, the tulips are showing green and my daffodils are fully bloomed and have sunny smiles that greet me each morning when I walk through the garden.

Hi Charlotte,
Funny I was just talking to my friends in NYC today planning my visit since I had to miss my conference back in Feb. I miss living there sometimes but think of that God awful tiny apt I had and look out onto my big yard and say naa.
I do miss the hustle and bustle of the city along with all the fabulous night life and restaurants.
So I will have to go there when its warm enough to eat outside!

My daughter is going to NYC for four days and leaves on the 16th. I hope it's not too cold. I know she's going to love it.

We're were told to expect between three and seven inches of snow tonight. Looking outside, I believe we are close to seven. Your post warmed my soul with all of the colorful, pretty windows.
I'm glad I stopped by.

I too, LOVE anthropologie, and make it my mission to visit whenever I am in New York (not that often as I live in Oxford, UK!) but I treasure all the images and love that you have used them in your blog.. which I also love!

When my husband takes 3 of our boys on a Boy Scout trip this summer, I am looking forward to taking the 2 I'll still have at home down to the city for a day or two. I never thought I would like NYC (I am a country girl through and through!) But! OH! We just loved our time there.
Thanks for sharing your photos.
God bless.
