Okay, I just pulled my copy down to look over it. I had a moment of fear thinking I might not have the book in my collection any more but there it was! Your house looks so charming. I admired you for years before I even really knew who you were!

thanks, Jen! I had to look for the copyright to see how old it was. 1996. way, way back there in the past- wonderful years with little ones and also with Mary and Barbara.

I can't imagine how you ever left it. But having moved from my house of that era, I know the bittersweet memories.

Truly storybook sweet, Charlotte. Love that Rabbit Cottage.

Yet another of my favorite books...will have to go revisit it. I love your use of the word phloxy ;-)

I have phlox like that growing in my garden, despite the color. It smells so much more sweeter than the others. Mine came from my grandma's garden, so wherever I go, they will go to.

I loved that front porch, from the minute I brought that book home.

I had such fun pulling your book down off of my shelf this morning Charlotte! I passed many a happy moment with it in years past, pouring over the charming scenes inside and was smiling all over again. Even more fun now to be able to say, "Oh, that's Charlotte's home!". :)

That was your porch? I used to swoon over that porch, especially the pink walls! Our houses have all been brick, otherwise I would have painted mine pink, too, even if it meant sneaking out in the middle of night so my husband couldn't stop me! And the playhouse is of course adorable... everything you touch is adorable!
