I had a very young visitor the other day who collected a fistful of leaves from our beautiful tree, the last of the last color here. She was so in love with them, carrying them around like a little bouquet. A few more inspired some playful doodles.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday of family, food and home. Save some time for playing. xoC

Every day now I pick at least one leaf up from my kitchen floor, brought in by one of our dogs, and curse them. You, however, have looked at them differently and made art of them. I'll look at the next one they bring in a little different.

This is simple yet so clever!! Takes me back to times of raking leaves with my kids --ah nature. When did life get so complicated?

I am not a particularly *crafty* person. I have many interests, but crafting hasn't been one of them. But THIS has changed my mind!
These are perfectly adorable & I can't wait to make some of my own! NOW I know why' I've been pressing those sweet-gum leaves! LOL
Thanks for sharing. . . . . truly beautiful!

Hi Charlotte!
Sorry to have been so quiet of late, the hands on the clock seem to be moving ever faster these days and I have fallen so behind with my blog visits. Your leaf doodles are the cutest - oh how I wish I could draw. I have been peeking in and smiled so over your day out with your Mom and of course your darling ornaments.
Wishing you and all your dear ones, a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Charlotte! Just popping in to say Hi and I so hope you are all well. We had a great day...and today I have to do Christmas pictures. I am so very dreading it. Wishing I could just pop into the photobooth instead (might actually do it). Happy Thanksgiving!
