Reaching back a little, here is what I made out of the Ozzie fabric. A shoebag which in its odd way was the inspiration for the fabric design to begin with (.....for the slippers I knitted for her last year.)
A pillow with linen.
And my favorite, a hanging bucket. Love the ticking, the usefulness and size of it.
I like to hear my sewing machine go. Whirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Last night I finished this piece for an upcoming fundraiser for Japan (details to follow). Ever since the Love banner, I've gone back to cutting out free form letters that I can stitch onto something else. This is the second version of this piece because the first didn't finish up the way I envisioned it. And I can't even say what I expected it to be except that it wasn't. You just know.
I like this one. Not sure why. Sometimes that's how it goes.
