I'm always looking for ways to use my fabric and sew/craft with it. Working on a new project today with yoyo's. Wow, they're fun!
My mom said she used to make them in grade school and that she won a prize for the most yoyo's.
And guess what? Look who won the Super Bowl jackpot at physical therapy!

You cracked me up with Yo yo, Ma!
I can remember seeing Yo Yo Ma on Johnny Carson or someone a million years ago and he said that people always messed up his name ... he said his favorite was when people called him "Yo Ma Ma"! ;)
I long to get back to my yo yo's on my class project - dang infernal paperwork keeps intruding on my play time. ARGH.
Hoping to get back to it next week and I'll be smiling, thinking of you and Yo Ma Ma while I'm stitching.

Yo-yo's are so much fun... I found a little heart-shaped yoyo maker a while ago... need to dig it out. I also tried making Kanzashi flowers last year- addictive like yoyo making too!

I love making yo-yo's--they are so simple, but fun! Trying to think up some new projects to use them!
