I imagine you are wondering when I'll get back to making things. Truth is, in the studio it's about Christmas right now and that seems so out of step with the glorious scene outside. So here are some spring snapshots from yesterday. There is a lane of apartments in our town with a stretch of cherry trees that I always look for when I drive by. I stopped yesterday to visit them.
Next post will be crafty. For real.
Looks like a beautiful embroidery, doesn't it?
Happy weekend, friends.

Thank you for the beautiful photos! You captured what I saw walking my dog down a street nearby....every house had a flowering tree or two blooming, absolutely glorious!
And now with the rain here in Southern PA trees are ready to open their leaves. It is all happening at once!
Have a wonderful weekend!

I'm OK with Christmas posts in March. I just purchased my first Christmas presents of the year and have sketched out the plans for the handmade gifts.

Hi Charlotte,
I just arrived home from Florida and thank goodness in time for all the flowering trees! Our dogwoods and cherry tree have not yet bloomed so I get to watch that delightful process! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos! Spring...every thing fresh and new! :)

Beautiful! I love it when city planners are smart and think of the seasons when they plant!

I love this post... it is nice to see your part of the world, and we can't stay inside all the time and craft, can we? Nature is so inspiring!

Wow - this is beautiful! We are still gray, windy & cold. Few trees in bloom yet. I am so anxious. Thanks for sharing such a gorgeous scene.

What beautiful trees! Pink blooms on a tree are the best. Thanks for the pretty pics. :)
