We've had some busy days here with visiting friends and the Surtex/Stationery show in the city, but I've made more progress on the Cedar Ridge sampler. Trying not to rush it now and even looking for ways to go back into places and add more details.
Or fix certain things.
Like crazy bunny eyes!

I really enjoy seeing your progress... lovely as usual! I am happily stitching on Mr. America at the moment... seeing the design come to life makes me so happy!

Charlotte, if you don't have one maybe it'd be fun to set up a Flickr group where we could all share our HouseWren Samplers when they are done. As you know I am busily stitching away on Cedar Ridge as well and like you I am trying to find ways to prolong it...

Hi Charlotte,
Checking in to see that you're feeling all better - so glad to hear you weren't sidelined for long and are out and about.
I've been seeing mentions of the Stationary Show on mail art and letter writing blogs - you lucky, getting to go!
It's always such fun to see your stitching projects! I think I need to just jump in and start a sampler of stitches and get my confidence back. I feel soooooo rusty.
Happy week to you!

This Cedar Ridge sampler will be among your most creative pieces. Truly a labor of love.
