I forget that you aren't hot in June. I should come spend June in your part of the world. I am not a fan of hot weather... I AM a fan, and a big one of your hooking project! One of these days I need to try it.

East Texas has already been in the mid-90's some days. The only fire we've had lately is in a grill. :0) Glad you get to enjoy a little longer Spring. Julie

What an amazing price on that wool - oh, the good ol' days! LOL Look forward to seeing your rug completed. Enjoy your cool temps.

Sounds wonderful, and already turning out quite beautiful! Enjoy the "cool June", as I have no clue what that possibly means. :)

Hi Charlotte!
Oh! Thanks so much for the sweet memories of going to department stores and the "five and dime" and getting fabric and patterns with my mom. I loved those days.
Can't wait to see your finished hooked piece.
Happy weekend!

Love seeing your hooking project - is it your drawing? Ha - I just remember what a terror my brothers were in fabric stores for my mom - hiding inside the fabrics draped from the bolts. Years later, with no hints from their uncles, my sons seem to know inherently that fabric stores were for adventure and hiding...
