I'm headed off to Mohonk Mountain House for the annual fireside crafting classes. I'm so honored to be invited back again. The weather is mild so I'm hoping to get outside a little more than last time. Have the car loaded up with craft supplies for little houses, hiking boots and my knitting for in between.
Christmas is unfolding very slowly here. It's definitely going to be smaller and easier to manage. As part of the downsizing, my Christmas stash is still big enough that I'm avoiding making plans for the future of all that collecting. Every box I open is full of keepsakes. The kids have their own tiny trees now. They've taken their favorite ornaments. So it may all end up at next year's church sale. That's okay. I had my turn.
In one of the boxes we found a baby sweatshirt I painted for Mo. Not sure she ever wore it, but the bambino might get a turn. Love that little reindeer. (You can tell it was painted during the years I worked with Mary.) Makes me so happy to think about Maggie and James's little guy arriving soon!
Hope you are all enjoying these early winter days. They start and end so quickly!
