This photo sums up how I feel today....The show was fun to do and I felt so great about my booth and work, but the event was poorly attended (and organized) so most of us bought and sold to each other. There was an amazing array of talent and arts, really beautiful things -- some great networking and new pals in art. One woman taught me all about needle-felting which is so cool and Maruska made us all laugh with her stories about making art among children. When they complain about a messy house in their quest for a normal life, she tells them--This is what pays for your braces. Bet they love hearing that.
There was a wine vendor there (another bad sign) and I considered buying a bottle thinking we could all drag our chairs together in a circle. Probably not a good idea. Today I do have a hangover, a non-alcoholic art hangover. Mostly I have a bunch of crates stacked in the LR and kind of want to go outside and play. It's sunny, 65 degrees and Jake is ready to hit the trails. Gosh, it's almost Christmas! So, the tagbook? Hmmm, later.
update....adding a few things to my etsy shop too.
I'm so sorry it wasn't hopping with people! So much work. I wish I could have gone! I think you deserve to go out and play... your work will be waiting for you when you get back. :)

I am sorry the show was not well attended. It is a lot lof work and I am sure it must be hard to do all that work for not much sales. Well a walk will help and enjoy that warm weather for me. Clarice

That's such a pain, when the event isn't properly organized. How can people fall in love with your creations when they don't even know you're there?!
At least you got to mingle and commiserate with other artists :)
