An unexpected discovery in my messy studio, this scene looks like a surprise valentine. For me? Good reason not to clean up.
I do love old red books, especially if they have gold stamped titles. A stack of these makes a nice pedestal for a lamp or a picture frame. Remove or add one for the right height.
Must get my valentines finished and packed up for the post office tomorrow. xoC
I like the assortment of things in the Valentine photo. Yes, good reason not to clean up!
Stacks of old books are one of my favorite things to use around the house. I have lots of old books, having sold used books online for several years, and many of them are lovely but not worth much so I use them as lifts for other objects. I especially like the last one....just bee-cause!

Miss Charlotte,
I hope you left the studio quietly and weren't noticed. I think you're in for a nice surprise.
The red books are darling! Is the author Helen Currier thee Currier of Currier and Ives? Such a nice collection to have and use on a daily basis.

I love these pictures! Thanks for sharing your red books, especially the "Just for Fun" book! I always say JFF {just for fun} and would love to find this book! Oh, and so sorry about the dead car in the city event the other day. Grrrr to that! Good times now back at home, I'm sure!
