She's home, all tucked in, ready to sleep all day I'm sure. The stress of studying, exams, packing, storing, shipping, re-packing the things she forgot about, shipping those, saying good-by, watching everyone else's mom and dad carry and assist with moving out, sleeping in her clothes, saying good-by again, getting to the airport an hour away, schlepping, paying extra baggage charges, rushing, rushing......but that girl had the biggest smile, the sweetest hug, the most excited chatter. So grown up!
This morning, lazing in bed thinking how nice this is-- spring, Momo home, open windows, coffee brewing, early birdsong.
me: One of those birds is really noisy today.
him: Oh, yeah, which one?
me: The one going jeeter, jeeter, jeeter. I think it's a cardinal.
him: Uh......Yankee.
33 years and still making me laugh like no one else! xoC
Good Morning Lyons Family! What a sweet feeling that must be, having your birdy back in the nest. If I were her I'd be sleeping all day, too.

Aww, there's nothing like waking up the morning after they return and knowing they're back for a while. Even if they don't stumble down till afternoon!

Oh gosh, I cracked up...the first thing I thought about was Derek Jeter! We have been rivals many time! My M's however could use a better pitching rotation...but hey, you know how that feels! LOL!
Glad to hear she's made it home safely and all is happy in your nest!
