It's just too beautiful out there! Flowers, trees, blue skies
and a May basket! For me?
A little favor for my friend and she surprised me with this thank-you! I feel so lucky...
so grateful, so inspired. xoC

It's funny to watch the progression of blooms around the country! Our blooms have come and gone in my neck of the woods. At least ones like these you've pictured--up in the trees. I wish they lasted longer...sigh...at least we keep seeing them in the "neighborhood" online.
Pretty pretties Charlotte!

Oh Charlotte, what beautiful photos! It's so kind of your neighbor to surprise you. I love May Day and the sweet surprise of it's baskets. Your appliqued basket looks pretty sweet too! I really love the scrappy look of it...such a great combo!
Happy May Day!

We don't have the tradition with a May Day basket here in Norway. I think I will make it a tradition next year.....or of course I can start one day late tomorrow.

What a lovely gift you got. And that fabric basic was pretty gorgeous too!
That fabric basket artwork makes me start thinking I need to resurrect an artwork goal I had many many moons ago to have a wall with artwork all exhibiting baskets of flowers but in every kind of medium, eg. painting, every form of needlework, quilted, etc. etc.

Is that a Kwanzan Cherry tree? I hope so because I just bought one and I want a tree that lovely in my yard!
