It's funny to watch the progression of blooms around the country! Our blooms have come and gone in my neck of the woods. At least ones like these you've pictured--up in the trees. I wish they lasted longer...sigh...at least we keep seeing them in the "neighborhood" online.
Pretty pretties Charlotte!

oh i love the pillow. did you make that? i am hoping the flowers i spent too much on so far this spring just "live".....to actually thrive would be such a bonus! Love the daisy basket!! xoxo

Oh Charlotte, what beautiful photos! It's so kind of your neighbor to surprise you. I love May Day and the sweet surprise of it's baskets. Your appliqued basket looks pretty sweet too! I really love the scrappy look of it...such a great combo!
Happy May Day!

Tracy

We don't have the tradition with a May Day basket here in Norway. I think I will make it a tradition next year.....or of course I can start one day late tomorrow.

Happy May day, and what a charming little basket of daisies. Sometimes the simplest flowers can have such impact!

What a lovely gift you got. And that fabric basic was pretty gorgeous too!

That fabric basket artwork makes me start thinking I need to resurrect an artwork goal I had many many moons ago to have a wall with artwork all exhibiting baskets of flowers but in every kind of medium, eg. painting, every form of needlework, quilted, etc. etc.

Jen

Is that a Kwanzan Cherry tree? I hope so because I just bought one and I want a tree that lovely in my yard!
