Our weekend was lovely. We had a day on the water in Andy's boat, fishing and cruising the shoreline of the Sound. It was our anniversary and the available kids came with us. The best way to celebrate 34 years.
There was the hometown parade. Mo in her dress uniform, friends and neighbors lining the sidewalk.
Strong sunlight, shadows and emotions.
I always think of my dad and miss him terribly. But without letting go of that, I can look up again, find myself back in the present, see his smile and gentle reminder that we are so lucky to have all this. On any day, sunshine or shade. Here. Now. Gratefully.
Hey Charlotte,
I'm glad your weekend was full of the joy joys. Boy, those shadows sure made their mark. 34 years -a wonderful on-going achievement...GOOD FOR YOU AND YOUR HUBBY. Happy happies to you Charlotte.
