What a great place...just my kind (except for the lambs for dinner thing). had to laugh because occasionally i'll look out the window and think oh! baby calves running through the pasture, and then i realize it's just my two silly choc labs hanging with the farmer's cows. hmmm, maybe all this time they've been thinking the cows were ginormous dogs!

What a wonderful place. I agree with you about the lambs. My Springer would probably bark like crazy - he's never too sure about cows. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool place! Lucky you. Big fan of Top Chef!

Poor lamby!!!

I saw that episode of Top Chef featuring Stone Barns. I kinda felt sick to my stomach thinking the food they were eating was recently walking the earth. Fact of life, I know, but I don't want to be that close to it.

Sounds like a nice place to visit, though... LindaSonia

You are so lucky to have New York City and Stone Barns at your disposal. I missed the last episode of Top Chef, who got the boot?

How nice to see the growing lettuce in this post on such a freezing cold day here in NY. Brrrr...I stopped counting how many layers I am wearing now. I think I'll stare at the sunshine and green grass in your photos for a while!
