Oooo, I love books and collect autographed books! Would love to add hers to my collection! Unfortunately, I haven't been reading much in the last 6 months. I finally reached the point where my arms just aren't long enough. I need glasses. Went to eye doc last week and get my reading glasses next week. But, 2 books I have loved are Cottage for Sale Must be Moved: A Woman Moves a House to Make Home by Kate Whouley (love her passion for small houses and has great pics - true story!) and Blackbird House by Alice Hoffman (beautiful story about a house and the stories of all the people who have lived in it over many years).

I just finished the "Outlander" and the rest of the series. I am now reading Black Out. All great time travel reads. Thanks for all the comments on other good books.

I am reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen far, so good! Jamie V in MT

"The Help" was an awesome book.

Pat Blascovich

"The Help" is a great read and so is "Beach House".

One of the best reads I have ever had is "Time is a River" by Mary Alice Monroe. I smelled the smells, heard the sounds and think I could recreate the setting.

Another great and descriptive read is "The Girl with a Pearl Earring".

I am reading "Imperfect Birds" by Anne LaMott ...she's a wonderful author, funny and wry and spiritual all at once. Have a great week. Patty in Kansas

one of my all time faves is The Samarai's Garden., just a beautifully written book. also recently read and enjoyed The Help, Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, and have just started Little Bee and have high hopes. thanks for offering this, it's so fun to read everyone's recommendations!

Monica Fullerton

I know I'm a little behind the times, but I just finished reading "Julie and Julia" and loved it! We rented the movie and I can say it is one of the few times I loved the movie more! Meryl Streep is fabulous! Thanks for the opportunity to win a book!

ah, great books & going to the public library, one of
America's greatest treasures! My all-time fav book is
THE SAMAURAI'S GARDEN by Gail Tsukiyama & she has written many since that novel.
Mysteries: the current 'hit' is a series featuring a young girl in England solving mysteries: SWEETNESS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PIE & the newest one THE WEED THAT STRINGS THE HANGMAN'S BAG by Alan Bradley.
a long series by Donna Leon, mysteries in Venice, Italy & a shorter series by David Hewson in Rome, his latest is very dark/contemporary. I love all the other suggestions, many I've read. Enjoy!
