The night before I headed up to Squam, I realized I needed something for vending night that I could use for cash and a notebook. So I stitched up a little linen bag and cut the strap in a way that I could wear it around my waist like an apron pocket. Worked perfectly! I used it again every day at the beach for shell collecting and re-tied as a shoulder bag for short walks to town.
My girls thought it would make a cute kit so I'm working on that and hope to have it ready soon. (Available now.)
Speaking of Squam, Elizabeth & co are releasing a beautiful book! You can preorder it here and get a nice discount if you do so before the 23rd. Can't wait to get my copy and dig in!
I love that Charlotte. So sweet!!

Love your bag. By the way, wanted you to know that I'm taking your book Between Friends along on vacation to craft w/my sis-in-law. We will be at a fun lakeside cabin in Idaho w/no electricity! Should be a great time.

Hi Charlotte!
I'm such a knucklehead ... I forgot that my email account attached to my Etsy is different from my "usual" email account so I didn't find my adorable turtle until today. D'oh! I'd lose my head if it weren't blah blah blah. ;)
Your bag is the cutest thing. You are amazing to be able to put together something so perfect and adorable, on the very night before! Can't wait to hear about the kit.
Thanks so much for the info on the Squam book. My husband is off for summer vacation (six more weeks yet - I may need my own vacation teehee) and I'm so behind with everyone and I hadn't heard about it.
Happy week to you!
