I like to blog and try to keep things up to date over here. Reading that last post after days away, I think it needed a quicker follow-up. Everything is fine here. It has certainly been a very full and memorable week with its own set of highs (bridal shower and houseguests) and lows (a tragic anniversary, flu and OTC drug reaction [that cautionary fine print on the box is there for a reason]).
I have fallen out of my routine and the blog has suffered. But the sun's out and the task of the day is to put everything back in place. House, blog, Etsy, etc. Monday, Monday.
I'll have more to show you later in the week, but wanted to share this pretty pin cushion I received in the mail from an old friend. A very special friend I'd lost touch with. Out of the blue, she thought of me as she prepared to move house and home. Such a sweet surprise. Her tiny stitches, the colors she chose and her lovely thoughtfulness. Isn't it beautiful?
Wishing everyone a creative and happy week ahead. Spring is really and truly on its way!
It is a yucky time, period. I hipe you are feeling better. I've been sick, my mother is not well but I am expecting my first grandchild about any day, now. All is not lost! Keep your chin up.

Hi Charlotte,
I'm so glad to hear that the clouds have parted and the doldrums have passed. I've been meaning to write a few words since I read your previous post but time is so crazy and things are weighing pretty heavy over here. Sending you lots of hugs, anniversaries are always so very tough aren't they?! Oh no, how very frightening to have a drug reaction! I can't take OTC cold meds, they give me rapid heartbeat and make me feel like I'm having a panic attack.
Such a sweet surprise to receive in the mail from your dear friend. Wishing you many moments of enjoyment and reminiscing!
Happy Monday,
Sally xo

So happy that things are looking up for you. What a sweet gift to receive to help brighten your days. Scary about your OTC reaction - I have had that happen w/Rx's. Don't worry about the blog. It's always a highlight to see something new & fun whenever you have have time in your busy life. Hugs.
