As soon as I heard that this beautiful baby girl was almost here, I started making this sweater jacket for her. It was already finished when I found out that her name is Robin. Of course, I like to put birds on almost everything I make, but this time ..... !
Made from two superfinely knit cashmere sweaters in my stash and the scraps from another, it's a kimono style pattern that I created when our Mo was a baby (24 next month!). I wish you could feel how incredibly soft it is.
One of the sweaters even had a tiny turtleneck!

Charlotte..I am also a Charlotte . called Holly because of my middle name Hollister...and My second cousins are Lyons....what does that mean....probably nothing except that I do love your name.....and I adore your work....I am also a hand embroiderer...it is my passion..I do all my own designs as well...I just have to tell you that I think your work is beyond wonderful....I love the way your brain works .....the bib in mollie makes and your last post it just over the top...I would be framing it not wearing it.... simple and beautiful.....Iove it!!! I see an embroidery in just about everything I look at...I just wish I could stitch all day....I am sure you know what I mean...well...I love following you and can not wait to see what is ahead!!
