Made my annual visit to the farm to see the baby lambs. They were doing this when I got to the barn and it's really true that they skip, kick up their little feet and bounce when they play just like the storybook illustrations!
Here at home, I enjoyed a bunch of pink ranunculus - right to the very end of their run.
Mr. America had a nice splash on Feeling Stitchy. I was unfortunately out of stock in the shop, but then set up a preorder for those to come. (Thanks, Julie, for letting me know!)
One of my own lambs came home for a visit.
Sweet friends - the same adorables that inspired Josie Bunny - joined us for the day at the farm. They have grown up so!
Have been stitching and finishing a new sampler almost ready to share. I think you'll like it.
And lastly, I upcycled my mandarin orange bag into a thread keeper. Works perfectly with a little clip at the end and the threads spool out through the mesh without tangling. Pretty darned clever, if I do say so myself!
Such sweet little lambs. I love the little one perched on top of his/her mother looking very content. Your daughter looks so much like you - I wondered if it was an earlier photo of you - but then I saw the laptop!
Happy Spring, Charlotte.

We call them the Lamb Races. It is so entertaining to watch them and all that vigor they have. Hope you have a great spring.

Teapot in one hand and embroidery in the other....perfection! Just have to lengthen the hair a bit and it's a self-portrait! Can't wait, Charlotte, it's lovely.
The lambs are delightful and a happy sight and, the netting bag is genius!
Happy Spring!

okay...LOVE the thread holder - a LOT!!! You are a genius, my friend.
I also think the new little "stitching girl" on your latest sampler is lovely.
Ranunculas are my ABSOLUTE faVORITE and I'm so happy that Trader Joe's always has a big selection around this time of year...simple joys.....
You are on my mind a lot....talk soon?

This is so cool, that's a picture of my version of your embroidery pattern in Feeling Stitchy. It's such a great pattern, I'm really loving making it. The lambs are sweet. We have lambs at our farm too! Thanks!
