Spring isn't exactly rushing in here. Like everyone else, we've had a lot of snow. Something like 52 inches total this year. It just kept on coming. Oh, well. Concentrating on making it feel like spring inside. What else can you do? It won't be long now.
I've designed some new samplers. One is in the shop, another on its way. I usually try to get them stitched up before posting, but I can't keep up. I could draw these little patterns for days and I love that part so much. The actual stitching takes lots and lots of time. You don't want to wait for me.
{Want to make something fun right now for Easter? Click here for my post on bunny lumps. My shop has a soft bunny toy pattern that's fairly quick to make. And I like the little embroidered dolls too for a basket. Fills it up with something that lasts a little longer than jelly beans. Use coupon code SPRING15 for 10% off through the end of the month.}
Baby Vince! He is just the dearest little thing, so sweet and changing so impossibly fast. I feel that same wave of creative inspiration that my girls brought to my daily life when they were at home. Fun to have a little boy to change it up over here!
This is such a wondrous time. Watching our children be parents and do it so well. I'm over-the-moon delighted for them and for all of us who get to share the love.
Love, love, love our little bunny boy!
Love this, Charlotte! Before you know it, he'll be trucking all over the place! Glad you are having a "nesting" early springtime. Love your creative work, love your inspiring energy you share so well.

So much beautiful eye candy in this post. I was gushing mentally over the stack of blue and white plates. Then I spotted Baby Vincent. Gosh, what an adorable baby. Enjoy!

There is no feeling quite like being a grandparent. Happy for all of you who get to share their life with this new precious soul.
